Our entire dental team are highly experienced in all areas of dentistry. We use only the highest quality materials and the most advanced techniques to provide you with exceptional treatment results. We offer many types of comprehensive restorative and esthetic dental procedures, including:
Cosmetic Dentistry Tooth Whitening - Custom Trays with Opalescence 10%, 15%, or 20% bleach. We take impressions and make custom trays and provide you with high power bleach so that you can bleach at home and buy bleach refills as needed to maintain the whiteness you desire.
Porcelain Veneers - These are thin, semi-translucent, lab-fabricated porcelain laminates. They are permanently bonded to your teeth and you can use the like your own teeth. The bond is extremely strong. Veneers can be placed to close spaces between teeth, restore discolored, broken, or chipped teeth, and straighten crooked teeth. The result is beautiful and natural looking. Lumineers are extremely thin porcelain veneers. Although not everyone is a candidate for this type of veneer, they are a conservative alternative.
Most of the time, the procedure takes only two appointments and tooth preparation is very conservative. Porcelain veneers are the most bio-compatable, long lasting, and esthetic restorations available.
Direct Veneers - These veneers require only minimal or no tooth-structure removal. They are the most conservative ethetic procedure that can be performed in cosmetic dentistry. Composite material is directly bonded to tooth structure and can match almost any tooth color and contour. The resin-based composites, or RBCs, available today have excellent smoothness, strength and color. Direct veneers require artistic ability and dexterity, and the dentist is in total control of the clinical procedure. Direct veneers are placed in one appointment.
Porcelain Crowns - To withstand biting forces, porcelain crowns always used to have a metal substructure. No matter how good the shade match would be, the crown always appeared unnatural and opaque. We all have seen the dark line at the gum line of a porcelain crown which is caused by the metal casting a shadow up the root surface.
Modern technology allows us to make crowns entirely out of porcelain The dark line at the edge of the gum is eliminated, less tooth removal is necessary, the margin can b placed at the gum line, and light can travel through the crown. The result is much more esthetic and healthier for your teeth and gums. Full porcelain crown are also semi-translucent on an x-ray which permits us to catch cavities early. We have two options for non-metal crowns in our office. We use lab made full porcelain IPS Empress crowns for esthetic anterior results. For posterior teeth, we use E-Max, a pressed ceramic coping rather than metal. It is covered with layered porcelain to allow for a beautiful, strong and natural looking crown.
Porcelain Bridges - Are an alternative to implants and partial dentures to replace one or more missing teeth. The teeth on either side of the missing tooth are crowned and connected (bridged) together. Bridges are most often made from porcelain on the surface with a metal substructure on order to withstand biting forces. New technology allows us to make bridges out of tooth colored, metal free materials which are strong and natural looking.
